Abstract

Based on the important topic of stage dramaturgy, this paper presents a research and critical review of two stage plays of the well-known stage dramatist and director Ali Ahmed. Apart from dramatization, he was well aware of the technical needs and problems of the stage, so keeping them in mind, he established a new tradition by staging plays based on low cost and more entertainment. Ali Ahmed has criticized social class division, hypocrisy, injustice, flattery and outdated traditions in a humorous way. Thus he has established a strong tradition of comic stage drama for the ages to come.
