اردو زبان میں رائج فارسی محاورے: ایک تجزیاتی مطالعہ
Abstract
In any language wisdom is usually described with the help of idioms and proverbs that is why proverbs are very important in any particular language. Because these idioms and proverbs reflect depth of that language. Persian language which was the official and court language of this region for centuries. People of this region accepted this language in such a way that as this language has always been their own language .For example there are so many Persian idioms and proverbs used in Urdu language have been invented by the people of this region.As a proof we can say that people of subcontinent have been given a place in their minds and hearts in such a way that despite the effort of British they couldn’t completely remove this language from veins of people .In this article an attempt has been made to present some idioms and proverbs with their meanings to the readers which came into existence in this region and remained in use by the people.
