Abstract

The Study of Religion has been one of the most stimulating activities in different ages of the human history. The Qur’ān, being the ultimate source of knowledge for Muslims, has also discussed various aspects of some of the significant religions of the world. It criticizes those beliefs and practices which are not in line with the divine message, while affirming those which are commendable in the eyes of God. It also guides Muslims on how to approach religion as a worldwide phenomenon. This article is an attempt to articulate the Qur’ānic view of religion along with highlighting it various approaches to the phenomenon of religion.
