Abstract

This study explores the research and educational role of digital libraries in the study and promotion of the Sīrah of Prophet Muhammad (peace be on him). Digital libraries have revolutionized access to Seerah-related primary and secondary sources, providing researchers and students with a vast collection of authenticated texts, manuscripts, and multimedia resources. The study highlights how digital platforms facilitate comparative analysis, interdisciplinary research, and broader dissemination of Seerah knowledge. However, challenges such as misinformation, lack of content authentication, and the absence of standardized verification mechanisms remain significant concerns. Additionally, the scarcity of dedicated Islamic digital libraries further complicates access to verified scholarly materials. The research examines the effectiveness of modern digital tools, software, and artificial intelligence in enhancing the credibility and accessibility of Seerah studies.
