Abstract

The biographies play a significant role in enhancing the ecstasy of study. It introduces us to the epoch making personalities and their contribution in the advancement of intellect and knowledge. Islamic Research Institute has published some valuable books, translations and anthologies regarding the lives of the masons of the Muslim History. These books take into account the services of Imam Abu Hanifah, Im┐m Muhammad ibnul Hasan al-Shaybani, Mawlana Abul Hasan Ali Nadawi, Abdullah Yousuf Ali and many other individuals of Indian Subcontinent. In this article an attempt has been made to analyse different aspects of these biographies, their characteristics and other aspects.
