Abstract

The Holy Quran is the sacred scripture of Islam, occupying a pivotal position being foundation of all Islamic Sciences. The Muslim scholarship has produced a valuable corpus of Quranic Sciences throughout the progress of Islamic history. In the modern period, various academic institutions have contributed in the advancement of Quranic thought. Islamic Research Institute can be considered a prominent icon in this regard. It has an illuminating history with significant academic publications. The institute has published the Quranic literature in five sub-genres, i.e. Quranic translation, original works, translations, anthologies and occasional papers on different topics. In this article an attempt has been made to introduce this literature thoroughly along with its analytical appraisal. The study shows that this literature carries the blend of originality and diversity with response to the contemporary requirements.
