بیسویں صدی میں فقہ السّیرۃ کا رجحان
Abstract
The Sirah of Prophet Mohammad ﷺ provides comprehensive guidance in shaping the theological, social, political and economic aspects of human life. Fiqh-al-Sirah is a subject in Sirah literature which is generally focused on deriving legal injections from this guidance. Mohammad Bin Ummar Al Waqidi is considered the first writer who adopted this approach in understanding Sirah. His work specifically deals with the battles of Prophetic era. This trend continued in 20th century and a number of publications were produced. We can devide these publications into two categories. One deals with the juristic issues of common life as Fiqh-a l-Sira h by Mohammad Ramadan Al-Buti or the work of Mohammad al-Ghazali with the same title. In the second category we can mention the work of those authors who focused on the legal aspect of a particular subject as international. Dr. Mohammad Hamidullah's work belongs to this category. This article attempts to explore the Sirah literature of 20th century regarding Fiqh-al-Sirah۔
