He noticed that faith had been dissociated from modern society and people held wrong views about the role of faith in society. However, he established the significance of faith for science, knowledge, and prosperity of Muslim community. The article also compares Nūrsī’s concept of faith with the views of other classical and contemporary Muslim thinkers. It concludes that the term faith is one of the essential elements of the thought of Nūrsī.
