"The Rejection of Discrimination and Racism in the Prophetic Sīrah: A Comparative Study of Prophetic Leadership and the Approaches of Past and Contemporary Rulers"
الملخص
This article examines the rejection of discrimination and racism in the
Prophetic Sīrah, with a focus on the Prophet Muhammad’s ﷺ humility,
his establishment of rights for slaves and freedmen, and his practical
embodiment of forbearance, modesty, and forgiveness. Central to the
study is the Prophet’s consistent call for manumission and human
freedom, which challenged entrenched social hierarchies and
affirmed universal dignity. By comparing Prophetic leadership with
the approaches of past and contemporary rulers, the paper
demonstrates how the Prophet’s example provides a timeless ethical
model for combating racism and upholding justice.
