الملخص
يتناول باكثير في مسرحياته التاريخية عدداً من الأحداث التاريخية التي كان لها شأن كبير في التحولات التاريخية التي غيّرت مجرى التاريخ بنشر الإسلام في البلاد المتعددة شرقاً وغرباً وجنوباً وشمالاً. وفي مسرحياته التاريخية برزت شخصيات عدة كانت تحمل قيماً أخلاقية مستمدة من النظام الأخلاقي الإسلامي الذي ينبع من الوحي: قرآناً وسنة فأصبحت الأخلاق تُرى وتُجسد في مواقف وأفعال سجّلها التاريخ لهؤلاء العظماء الذين فتحوا البلاد بالمحبة والرحمة قبل السيف. والقصص والمسرحيات لها أثر كبير في ترسيخ الأخلاق في نفس القارئ بطريقة غير مباشرة؛ فالقارئ يتماشى مع الأحداث والشخصيات ويتشرّب المعاني والقيم الأخلاقية بغير وعي منه في معظم الأحيان، فلذلك كانت القصة والمسرحية لها أهمية بالغة في الجانب القيمي الأخلاقي، تستحق الدراسة والبحث.
