الملخص
This study aims to shed light on the role of an Islamic writer Munal-Amad who uses short stories to preach Islamic values such as positivity, good relationship between spouses, contentment, and faith. She also writes on the problems and needs of teenagers, Palestinian issue, wrong Western values, and convert Muslims etc. This research begins with explaining the importance of short stories, then turns to the Quran and hadith stories, and the evolution of story writing in Arabic starting from the Umayyad and Abbasid caliphates down to the modern era. It also explains the role of Muslim women in preaching Islam through literary and intellectual activities throughout Islamic history. It shows shining examples in which women utilized their talents for the advocacy of Islam, focusing on the work of Munal-Amad in preaching Islam and spreading Islamic values and religious principles. I hope this will be a step towards the enhancement of women’s skills and creativity in Islamic literature.
