Saudi Arabia’s Vision for 2030: A Study of the Foundations of Islamic Cultural Values
Abstract
This article aims to demonstrate the essential aspects of Saudi Arabia’s vision for 2030. These aspects include Islamic values of moderation, tolerance, efficiency, discipline, justice, and transparency. It clarifies the contribution of these values to building a cohesive society characterized by belonging to a sense of national responsibility and highlights their role in fortifying the youth against extremism, excesses, and perversion in any form. It concludes that Islam teaches these values and urges Muslims to adopt them individually and collectively. Moreover, the vision 2030 based on these values guarantees to establish a vibrant society, create a prosperous economy, and consolidate and strengthen the foundations of the country. The article uses inductive and deductive methods to explain these Islamic values in the light of the holy Quran and Sunnah.
