Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • مقالے میں بنیادی اسلامی عقائدسے متصادم کوئی مواد موجود نہ ہو۔ The article is not contradicted to mainstream Islamic teachings.
  • The submission is an original research work and has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration.
  • The submission file is in Microsoft Word format. Submission should include a provisional title both in English and Urdu. Each submission must be attached with an English abstract of approximately 200 words along
  • The article is in correct language without spelling mistakes and the verses of Quran and sayings of Prophet Muhammad Peace Be Upon Him are mentioned with full accuracy.
  • The article is not plagiarized and where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 14-point font; Jamil Noori Nastaliq font style. All illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end. The references.

مقالہ نگاران کے لیے رہنما اصول

”فکرونظر“ میں شائع ہونے والا مقالہ بالعموم حواشی و حوالہ جات سمیت پانچ سے سات ہزار الفاظ پر مشتمل ہوتا ہے۔ ابتدائی ادارتی چھان پھٹک کے بعد اشاعت سے پہلے کم ازکم دو ماہرین سے اس مقالے کی اشاعت/عدم اشاعت کے بارے میں رازدارانہ رائے لی جاتی ہے۔ اشاعت کے لیے قبول ہونے والے مقالات کی اگر ضرورت ہو تو مزید ادارتی تدوین بھی کی جاتی ہے۔ ”فکرونظر“ کسی مخصوص  موضوع پر گاہے بگاہے خصوصی اشاعتوں کا بھی اہتمام کرتا ہے۔ بھیجی جانے والی تحریروں میں حوالہ جات اور اقتباسات وغیرہ کے سلسلے میں فکرونظر کے طرز کو اختیار کیا جائے جو بنیادی طور پر شکاگو مینویل پر مبنی ہے۔ (نمونے کی بعض مثالوں کے لیے دیکھیے: http://www.chicagomanualofstyle.org)۔

حوالہ جات کے لیے بالخصوص درج ذیل ضوابط کو ملحوظ خاطر رکھیں:

قرآن کے حوالے کے لیے مثال: القرآن،۳: ۱۱۳  (ترجمہ کے ماخذ کا بھی ذکر کیا جائے)۔

حدیث کے حوالے کے لیے مثال: محمد بن اسماعیل البخاری، الجامع الصحیح، کتاب الذبائح و الصید، باب أکل کل ذي ناب من السباع (ریاض: دار السلام، 1417ھ)،  حدیث : 5530۔

مستقل کتاب کا حوالہ: ابو بکر محمد بن احمدالسرخسی، أصول السرخسي (بیروت: دار المعرفة،  ۱۹۹۷ء)، ۱: ۳۵۰۔

              دوبارہ حوالے کے لیے صرف مصنف کا مشہور(آخری) نام اور کتاب کا مختصر نام لکھا جائے ، مثلاً: السرخسی، أصول ،  ۱: ۳۵۰۔

مدون شدہ کتاب کا حوالہ:  خلیق احمد نظامی، مرتب، شاہ ولی اللہ کے سیاسی مکتوبات (لاہور: ادارہ اسلامیات، ۱۹۷۸ء)، ۵۲۔

مجلے کا حوالہ : محمد فیضان الرحمٰن،”احادیث نبویہ میں وارد حیوانات کا ترجمہ: ایک ناقدانہ جائزہ“، فکرو نظر،اسلام آباد،51: 2 (2013)، 47۔
